SINCE 1992

we have provided repairs to over 2,500 low-income homeowners at a pace of over 120 projects annually within Nassau and Suffolk.

is to preserve and revitalize houses and communities, assuring that low-income homeowners who are either elderly, veterans, disabled and families with children live in comfort and safety while maintaining their independence.

Sandy Relief

The struggles continues .................................

Following Superstorm Sandy, RTLI helped many families rebuild and get their lives back on track. Watch the video to see more...

Today, years after the devastation of Superstorm Sandy, our work continues.  In 2015, we were awarded a significant grant from the NYS Affordable Housing Corporation to repair twelve homes on the south shore of Long Island that still suffer from the devastating effects of this storm.  Our work will continue throughout 2016.

RTLI was pleased to have Assemblyman Todd Kaminsky lend a hand as our first two projects got underway in Long Beach.

In April 2016, we had the opportunity to work with the wonderful people of Race2Rebuild and many volunteers joined us to work on an additional three projects in the Long Beach area.  Our heartfelt thanks go to all those you participated.
