The D.
Family has lived in their 100 year-old house for over 40
years and have raised their children in this home. Currently
the household consists of an elderly brother, two sisters
and a disabled son of one of the sisters. All have serious
health conditions that require frequent doctor visits.
Their limited funds are spent on basic needs and medications,
leaving little left over for home maintenance or improvements.
Rebuilding Together Long Island, together with the support
of HGTV and its partners hope to help the D. Family
repair their family home.
